Daniela Salgado is a Colombian-born artist, entrepreneur, and the creative force behind Daniela De Art3. She moved to the United States at the age of 17, embarking on a journey that would shape her artistic voice and entrepreneurial spirit. As an immigrant, a woman, and a dreamer, Daniela’s work is deeply influenced by her cultural identity and her experiences navigating life between two worlds. Since founding Daniela De Art3 in 2020, Daniela has built a thriving art business that celebrates the intersection of Colombian and American cultures. Her art is a poignant exploration of melancholy, memory, and belonging, using diverse materials to create pieces that resonate with raw emotion and cultural depth. Each artwork serves as a bridge between her roots and her present, offering viewers a glimpse into the complexities of immigrant life. Daniela’s creative process is guided by a desire to honor her heritage while embracing the possibilities of her adopted home. Her works often blend traditional Colombian motifs with contemporary American influences, creating a unique visual language that speaks to resilience, identity, and self-made success. Her journey as a self-taught artist and entrepreneur is a testament to her perseverance and vision. Daniela continues to inspire through her art, sharing stories of adaptation, growth, and the beauty found in the in-between spaces of identity. Daniela’s work has been showcased in numerous exhibitions and auctions, including ArtFields 2024, the American Heart Association Auction in Orlando, Hoofprints in the Sand in Charleston, and the 35th Anniversary of the Children’s Brain Tumor Foundation in New York City. She has also contributed to exhibitions at the College of Charleston Albert Simmons Center of the Arts and the Halsey Institute. Currently, Daniela is a resident artist at ArtFields Acline Studios, where she continues to push the boundaries of her artistic practice. Through her work, she aims to share the lessons she has learned, offering a sense of peace, inspiration, and connection to her audience
